Scienceuticals Innovation Award

The Scienceuticals Chemistry Innovations Award aims to reward scientific achievement in chemistry and to promote new and innovative product ideas to the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and chemical industry.

While demand for new and unique product ideas is rising, the number of innovative products is dipping. The contest gives the best creative, scientific minds a forum to display their innovations and connect them with consumers and companies willing to support the product innovation on a global basis.

The Scienceuticals Chemistry Innovations Award is a new scientific award for outstanding theoretical, experimental and applied research, development, inventions and discoveries in the field of chemistry.

The Award was founded in 2006 is awarded annually. The idea of an Scienceuticals Chemistry Innovations Award was put forward by a group of well-known cosmetic chemists and chemistry scientists led by Scienceuticals and was backed by the scientific community as well as by the largest US cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies. The initiative was approved and endorsed Society of Cosmetic Chemists.

Being aware of its huge responsibility for the development of science in the world and for the progress of mankind in the sphere of chemistry and consumption, Scienceuticals became the initiator of the Scienceuticals Chemistry Innovations Award.

Scienceuticals Chemistry Innovations Award is called on to promote:


• international cooperation in conducting fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and cosmetic chemistry ;

• involvement of the leading scientists of the world to solving the most urgent problems of today in the field of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and cosmetic chemistry ;

• international social recognition for the discoveries and inventions of scientists and research teams.

• The Scienceuticals Chemistry Innovations Award is a unique international scientific award. It is the first prize in the world's fundamental and applied science to be awarded for epoch-making discoveries and outstanding achievments in the sphere of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and cosmetic chemistry ;

• According to the founding members, the Scienceuticals Chemistry Innovations Award should cover all scientific directions relating to prospective new product ideas in chemistry .

• The prize is awarded for scientific achievements in the field of chemistry in the following main areas:

• fundamental research, discoveries and inventions providing new opportunities in the development of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and cosmetic chemistry;

• theoretical studies, discoveries and inventions opening new chemical sources and opportunities for their use;

• applied inventions, studies and technical improvements providing an essential chemistry, pharmaceuticals and cosmetic chemistry products;

• research, discoveries and inventions that have led to the use of new methods for the transformation of raw materials to the chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry

• research, discoveries and inventions resulting in breakthrough solutions for chemistry, pharmaceuticals and cosmetic chemistry

• When awarding the Award, unconditional preference will be given to works that benefit humanity as a whole, and which testify to its pronounced humanistic trend.

• The annual fund of the Award exceeds US$50,000. In 2006 the prize money was US$40,000.

• The Award fund is formed and funded by Scienceuticals and has undertaken to finance the Award on a permanent basis. The founders, however, shall by no means influence the selection of Prize winners.

• In order to carry out activities relating to the establishment and annual organizational preparation and the holding of the scientific contest and selection of the Award winners, as well as providing financing for the project, the founders have formed a number of authorized bodies: Board of Trustees of the Award, International Award Committee.

• The Board of Trustees of the Award will supervise the activities of the Foundation and other authorized bodies of the Award. The board includes representatives of public and private organizations.

• The International Prize Award Committee was formed to ensure a high scientific level and impartiality for the contest and selection of winners. The Committee is composed of world famous scientists, previous prize winners and heads of leading Research Centers.
